ST. LOUIS (WLS) -- Some brave engineers climbed to the top of the Saint Louis Arch!
The engineers are collecting stain samples. They're trying to determine what's causing the discoloration on the Gateway Arch.
The stainless steel landmark, which is 630-feet tall, is located on the riverfront in downtown St. Louis.
The stains first appeared in the 1990s.
