Female ex-band teacher accused of sex with male student, 14

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. -- A former middle school band teacher has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old student.

Bridgett Szychulski was the band teacher for the Lenape Middle School in Doylestown, Pa. at the time of the alleged incident.

Police say Szychulski had a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old student in 2012.

She is set to be arraigned before a Bucks County district judge on Tuesday afternoon.

Szychulski will be charged with deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault.

The Bucks County District Attorney's office is asking that anyone who had inappropriate contact with Szychulski call detectives as 215-348-6629.
