Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson gets married

Darren Wilson, the police officer involved with the shooting death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri on August 9, was married this past month to fellow police officer Barbara Spradling, according to ABC News.

Wilson, 28, had been out of the public eye since protests erupted following the shooting in Ferguson. However, the officer applied for a marriage license in Clayton, Missouri last month and was wed to Spralding in Oakland, Missouri on October 24.

Spralding, 37, is a 10-year-veteran of the Ferguson police force. Wilson previously married Ashley Brown in October 2011, but divorced in November 2013. Wilson is facing potential indictment over the shooting of Michael Brown. Schools in the Ferguson areatook precaution for possible unrest by closing classes on Monday and Tuesday this week.
