CHICAGO (WLS) -- A bank robber may have struck for the third time at a First Merit Bank branch on Chicago's Back of the Yards neighborhood.

The FBI released a surveillance photo from the robbery that occurred in the 1700-block of West 47th Street around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday. An FBI spokesman said he showed a weapon, but police said he only implied he had one.

The suspect got away with an unknown amount of cash, according to the FBI. No injuries were reported.

Police said the suspect is described as an African American man about 5 ft. 8 in. tall, wearing a yellow jacket.

The same man is also suspected of robbing a Fifth Third Bank branch in the 8100-block of South Ashland Avenue on Oct. 28 and a Citi Bank branch in the 2000-block of West 79th Street on Nov. 14.
