An Alaska Airlines flight was diverted to Denver due to a rowdy passener.

DENVER (WLS) -- An Alaska Airlines flight from Boston to San Diego was diverted to Denver after passengers say a man was getting loud and rowdy.

Passengers say the man started making threats and saying they were all going to die, and would not calm down. Several men blocked him from getting up and moving towards the cockpit.

After the jet was diverted to the Colorado airport police came aboard and took him away.

ABC affiliate KMGH-TV in Denver reported that Alaska Airline officials said the man was intoxicated, and that passengers cheered when the plane touched down in Denver. Passengers told Denver7 the man had brought his own alcohol on the plane and became agitated after being told by flight attendants that he could not drink it.

No one was injured. The flight continued on to Boston after the man was removed.
