Girl, 16, missing from Oakland neighborhood

CHICAGO -- Police are asking for the public's help in searching for a 16-year-old girl missing from the Oakland neighborhood on the South Side since Tuesday.

Cecily Clayton was last seen about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of East 42nd Place, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

Clayton may be mentally confused, police said.

She is described as a 5-foot-11, 210-pound black girl, with brown eyes, brown hair and a medium complexion, police said. She was last seen wearing a black and white jersey, black shorts and gym shoes.
