Gurnee girl Amayrani Brambila, 7, and mother, Siomara Alvarado, missing

GURNEE, Ill. (WLS) -- Gurnee police are searching for 7-year-old Amayrani Brambila, who was last seen with her mother, Siomara Alvarado.

Police do not believe the girl is in any danger, but Alvarado does not have custody of Amayrani, who was supposed to have been returned to her father a couple of days ago.

The two were last seen in a taxi on Sunday, August 31, 2014.

Amayrani, who also uses the nickname "Annie," is 4' and 65 pounds. She has long brown hair and brown eyes. She may be wearing a pink skirt, white shirt and pink flowered flipflops.
