GLENVIEW, Ill. (WLS) -- Two Chicago suburbs will get millions of dollars to deal with the aftermath of severe flooding.

FEMA is giving Glenview and Lisle $3 million each to buy and demolish homes in floodplains. It will help some families move out of areas hit hard by flooding last year.

FEMA says the plan will cut the risk of loss of life and property.
