GURNEE, Ill. (WLS) -- Amayrani Brambila, 7, of Gurnee, was found safe with her mother in Springfield, Ill. Simoara Alvarado, 37, does not have custody of the girl.

Alvarado is awaiting extradition to Lake County after a warrant was issued for her arrest. She faces a two counts of child abduction and a $150,000 bond.

Amtrak police helped the Gurnee Police Department locate the two after they arrived in Springfield on a bus from Galesburg, Ill. Police asked for the public's help on Tuesday after she was reported missing.

Amayrani, who also goes by the nickname of Annie, has been reunited with her father, police said. She is in good health, officials said.
