Habitat for Humanity welcomes Ukrainian family into new home

GLENDALE HEIGHTS, Ill. (WLS) -- A family from Ukraine has a new home in Chicago's west suburbs thanks to the generosity of strangers.

The DuPage Habitat for Humanity helped welcome the Gutorka family to their new home in Glendale Heights.

They moved to America from Ukraine six years ago.

The family of five lives in a two bedroom apartment in Wheaton, but now they will have more space in their new home.
