Hoffman Estates man arrested for allegedly discharging firearm

BENSENVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- A Hoffman Estates man has been charged after allegedly shooting a gun in the direction of a person during an argument in unincorporated Benseville on Monday.

Ted Bukowski, 20, was charged with multiple firearm felonies after DuPage deputies responded to a call of a man discharging a firearm around 3:20 p.m. Monday. Sheriff's detectives investigated the incident and took Bukowski into custody.

No injuries were reported.

Bukowski is currently being held in the DuPage County Jail and will be in bond court Tuesday.
