Illinois Affordable Care Act plan enrollment opens Saturday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Gov. Pat Quinn announced the second period of open healthcare plan enrollment in Illinois under the Affordable Care Act will begin on Saturday.

Quinn said 700,000 people statewide have already enrolled in health care plans under the Affordable Care Act.

The enrollment period will run for three months until Feb. 15, 2015.
