Information sought on man found beaten to death

May 10, 2014 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Family and friends of a man who died last month are urging anyone with information on the incident that killed him to come forward.

The family of 32-year-old Jacob Klepacz says he was beaten to death.

It happened April 28th in the 1500 block of West Fullerton in Lincoln Park.

Saturday, they were joined by his friends as they passed out fliers in the same area.

"He was a good person," said Kim Bacia, Klepacz's mother. "He didn't have a mean bone in his body. He would help anybody, he loved everybody, and everybody knows that. It was just senseless, and we have to find out who did this. Jacob was a one of a kind. He had a heart of gold."

Family and friends say they won't give up until they get answers.
