DALLAS, TX -- A 10-year-old Dallas boy who was kidnapped during an armed robbery is speaking out about the horrific ordeal.

Police say Nicholas Fierros Jr., was found by a passerby in South Dallas hours after he was kidnapped.

Police say Nicholas was at his aunt's house when three men in black stormed in and demanded money. When the aunt said she didn't have any -- one of the kidnappers restrained her, while another took off with Nicholas, duct-taping his feet and hands.

Nicholas explained, "On my feet and my hands. Like, right here, and then the chest."

Stephanie Rosales, Nicholas' cousin, said, "We were crying, going crazy at the time. We didn't know what to do. He looked kind of lost, she said, confused. Me and my sister had remembered that there was an Instagram post that there was a missing boy. So we told her to call the cops immediately because that could have been him."

Rosales said she thinks the kidnappers found numbers on Nicholas' phone, and then sent text messages to her dad, telling him to get the police and the police helicopter to leave.

Nicholas hardly remembers any of it.

A short time after Nicholas went missing, a woman found him behind a home. Nicholas told KTVT the kidnappers took off the duct tape and left him there alone.

Police said the family was targeted, local station KTVT reports.

The kidnappers remain on the run and police have not yet identified them.
