MOREHEAD, Ky. (WLS) -- The Kentucky court clerk who refused to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples returns to work Monday morning and the non-profit group Planting Peace has a message for her.

The group put up a billboard in her hometown of Morehead which reads, "Dear Kim Davis, the fact that you can't sell your daughter for three goats and a cow means we've already redefined marriage."

Davis was released from jail Tuesday, five days after a judge sent her there after defying a court order by refusing to issue marriage licenses to legally eligible couples. She said her religious convictions prohibited her from giving licenses to same-sex applicants.

The group says the intent of the billboard is to reflect how the anti-LGBTQ movement tends to "pick and choose what they wish to convey as immoral and unacceptable."
