Lawsuit filed in protest of Niles gun range

NILES, Ill. (WLS) -- Opponents of a proposed northwest suburban gun range filed a lawsuit Friday.

The suit challenges the village of Niles after it granted a special use permit for the gun range and shop in the 6100-block of Howard.

Some residents say it would be too close to several schools and don't want it to open.
