Lincoln Park cars broken into, tires slashed

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Several drivers who park near the Lincoln Park Zoo woke up Sunday morning to find their cars broken in to, car windows smashed in, and their tires slashed.

Police say the suspect struck cars parked along Stockton Drive and Lincoln Park West.

As many as 30 vehicles were vandalized.

Police later arrested Romale Landor after he was seen breaking into other cars in the same area.

It is not yet known if Landor is responsible for the break-ins from Saturday night.
