Lisle man killed in Naperville motorcycle accident

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- Naperville police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that killed 28-year-old Erik Lat, officials said.

Police found a 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle and its driver, Lat, near Ogden Avenue and Columbia Street around 11:45 a.m. Sunday, police said. Investigators said Lat was traveling eastbound on Ogden Avenue when he lost control of his motorcycle, leaving the roadway on the southeast corner of Columbia Street.

Lat was transported to Edward hospital where he died of injuries obtained in the accident, officials said.

Police are continuing to investigate.
