Loyola holds prayer session calling for end to violence after student shot

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Just five days after Loyola University student Mutahir Rauf was killed during a robbery attempt, prayers for peace were offered Wednesday on the campus.

The prayers involved people of several faiths, and there were calls for an end to violence in Chicago, around the country and world.

Rauf, 23, was shot to death last Friday while walking near the Rogers Park campus.
