ELMWOOD PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- Sam Montalbano, 87, of Elmwood Park, is accused of sexually abusing two young girls in his neighborhood for more than 15 years, the state's attorney says.

Prosecutors charged Montalbano with two counts of felony predatory criminal sexual assault, one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and one count of criminal sexual abuse.

Prosecutors say Montalbano lured the two victims to his home and engaged in various sex acts with them.

According to prosecutors, Montalbano first abused a 7-year-old girl in 1998. Montalbano would allegedly lure her into his home and then expose himself and sexually assault her. Montalbano allegedly also showed the victim pornographic videos and made video recordings of her inside his home. That abuse continued until 2005, prosecutors say.

Prosecutors say Montalbano allegedly exposed himself to a second victim who lived in his neighborhood in 2013. The 4-year-old victim's father contacted the police.

Montalbano's bond was set at $50,000 during a hearing at the Cook County Courthouse in Maywood. Prosecutors say he is suspected of having contact with multiple children over the course of many years, and urge anyone with information to contact police.
