CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man accused of pretending to be a psychiatrist and a psychologist, will remain in federal custody.

A federal judge denied bond for Scott C Redman Tuesday, calling him a "flight risk" and a "danger to the community."

The U.S. Department of justice says Redman used a physician's information to run a Chicago clinic and prescribe dozens of medications.

Monday night the I-Team talked to an angry patient who thought Redman was a licensed psychologist and exposed Redman's history of criminal charges.

Redman's public defender has not returned requests for comment.
