Daniel Bockenhauer charged in Lincolnshire attempted kidnapping

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. (WLS) -- A Huntley man is charged with attempting to kidnap a girl from outside her Lincolnshire home.

Police say Daniel Bockenhauer, 21, was wearing a hood when he attacked her Wednesday night in her driveway.

The girl started screaming, broke free and called 911. Officers arrested Bockenhauer a few minutes later.

He's charged with attempted kidnapping and battery. Bockenhauer faced burglary and trespassing charges two years ago.
