Man killed, boy injured in South Shore shooting at 75th, Colfax

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was killed and a boy was wounded in a shooting on the city's South Side Thursday afternoon.

Officials said a man and a 14-year-old boy were shot while sitting in a car at 75th and Colfax in the South Shore neighborhood.

The man suffered numerous gunshot wounds and died at the scene. The boy suffered a wound to his foot.

Police are investigating. No one is in custody.
