Man locked out of house gets stuck in chimney

PHOENIX, Ariz. (WLS) -- A man had to be rescued from his chimney after his friends played a joke on him.

Rescue crews used a drill and sledgehammers to break though the bricks of a home in Phoenix, Arizona, after a 23-year-old man got stuck.

Some of his friends played a joke on him, locking him out of his house. He tried to get back in by climbing down the chimney.

Firefighters finally reached him and were able to pull him out. He was taken to the hospital to get checked out. He is expected to be OK.
