The economic outlook at McDonalds isn't looking good right now.

Sales are lagging for the fast food giant as it looks for ways to bring back customers less than a year after launching its all-day breakfast menu.

Sales rose a disappointing 1.8 percent at U.S. restaurants for the three months that ended June 30.

McDonald's CEO is promising what he calls a big announcement soon.
