Megabus passengers headed to Chicago stranded in Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WLS) -- Some bus passengers are trying to make it to Chicago after getting stranded in the winter storm.

The people were on a Megabus in Nashville and had to walk through snow and ice to a motel.

The Megabus started out in Atlanta but road conditions were too dangerous to keep going. So the driver pulled off in Tennessee to wait out the storm.

Hazel Walker is heading for Chicago for her sister's birthday party and still hopes she'll make it in time.

Some passengers are angry because they think Megabus should have known that the weather was bad on the route and canceled or delayed the trip.
