Metra UP-North service resumes with delays after person struck near Glencoe

GLENCOE, Ill. (WLS) -- Outbound Metra UP-North trains near Glencoe are on the move again with extensive delays after a pedestrian was struck.

Officials say the person was injured after being struck by train #350. Emergency crews responded to the scene and took the pedestrian by ambulance to a local hospital.

Officials said train #350 and #352 will operate as a combination train, making all stops to Chicago.
