KENYA (WLS) -- A nationwide blackout in Kenya that lasted three hours was all caused by a monkey.

How did a monkey take down the entire Kenyan power grid? He climbed onto the roof of a major power station. Then he fell on a transformer, tripping it.

When the monkey tripped the transformer, it caused other machines in the station to falter and triggered a national blackout.

The Kenyan facility has a fence to secure it from people, but not from high-flying monkey business.
