Mother, 2-month-old daughter missing from Merrillville

MERRILLVILLE, Ind. (WLS) -- Police are asking for the public's help to find a 23-year-old mother and her 2-month-old daughter, who were reported missing from Merrillville, Indiana.

Diamond Lewis and her daughter, Morgan Williams, were reported missing Sunday. Lewis' family said the last time they spoke with her was on April 11 and that it is unusual for her not to be in touch for long periods of time.

Lewis' car, a tan 1999 Buick with Indiana license plate WTK341, is also missing.

Police describe Lewis as an African American woman with brown hair and brown eyes. She is about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs around 165 pounds.
