NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- Last call could come earlier in suburban Naperville as several councilmen there are pushing for a change in bar hours.

The move comes just over one week after a fatal crash where a driver accused of being intoxicated drove into a downtown quarry, killing his two friends.

Bars currently must close at 1 a.m. on weekdays and 2 a.m. on weekends.

Councilman Bob Fieseler is one of those who wants to see earlier closing times. He says there is a "very clear pattern of accidents and threats to health and safety."
