NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- Authorities in west suburban Naperville are investigating a fire that destroyed a squatter's tent Monday afternoon.

The Naperville Fire Department said it received a call around 1:55 p.m. that a tent was on fire near Naper and Ogden. By the time crews arrived on the scene, the tent was fully engulfed in flames.

Investigators found propane cylinders in close proximity to the tent.

Authorities said the man who lives in the tent was across the street at a restaurant at the time of the fire. He was not injured.
