Michael Erwin of Careerbuilder talks about how college graduates are being prepared for job-seeking.

May 10, 2014 (WLS) -- Once the papers are written, the tests taken, next comes graduation day.

According to the National Center for Education Statistics, 1.6 million students will receive a bachelor's degree this year.

The question is, how many will land a job?

A Careerbuilder survey found that 57 percent of employers said they plan to hire new college graduates. That's up from 53 percent last year. And it's a significant increase from 44 percent in 2010. But some employers are concerned about the preparation college students are receiving.

Michael Erwin from Careerbuilder joined Alan Krashesky to talk about all this and more.
