CHICAGO (WLS) -- Over the past decade, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra has gone through some tough times. Most recently, there was a musicians strike in 2012, as well as financial woes - but that's not that unusual for many in the arts community.

But Deborah Rutter, president of the CSO, was there to help navigate the symphony through all of it - and also to become strong once again.

CSO is searching for Rutter's replacement, as she has taken a new role as the president of the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
