Newsviews: Research, conservation at the Shedd Aquarium

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An abandoned sea otter is found on the California coast, but where is she being cared for now? Chicago's very own Shedd Aquarium!

Since arriving, she's gotten round-the-clock care and a new name: Luna. But bringing her from California to Chicago is about more than saving one sea otter. She is part of the bigger research and conservation effort at the Shedd.

Joining us on Newsviews this week to talk about that and more is Tim Binder, vice president of collection planning at the Shedd Aquarium.
