CICERO, Ill. (WLS) -- A man wanted in connection with a string of bank robberies was arrested Sunday, police said.

Rodrigo Medellin, 31, is charged with multiple counts of armed robbery as well as several other felonies, police said.

Police say images from surveillance cameras led to Medellin's arrest. Cicero police officers recognized the man as a known gang member and took him into custody in Broadview after a foot chase on Sunday at 3 p.m., officials said. He was then turned over to the FBI.

The so-called "No Boundaries Bandit" is wanted in connection with series of bank robberies across the city and suburbs.

The most recent robbery was on August 28, 2014, at TCF Bank branch in River Forest.
