Non-profit hosts 'Sneakerball' to help homeless get shoes
One charity organization is committed to providing shoes for homeless people in Chicago and in cities across the country and worldwide.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- One charity organization is committed to providing shoes for homeless people in Chicago and in cities across the country and worldwide.

And there's a fun black tie event kicking off this weekend where people can step forward and help.

The SneakerBall is hosted by non-profit, Kicks 4 the City and will be held Saturday, May 20 at Venue One in the West Loop from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.

Kicks 4 the City founder Justin Johnson and event host Samantha Johnson stopped by ABC 7 Chicago to share more about the event.

Guests who attend the AGORA Sneakerball are encouraged to wear formal attire with their favorite pair of sneakers.
