North Riverside police end search in Des Plaines River

NORTH RIVERSIDE, Ill. (WLS) -- Police searched the waters of the Des Plaines River near Cermak Avenue in suburban North Riverside after someone reported seeing a woman throwing bags into the river.

The search was called off Wednesday after police found a plastic bag containing a doll and rocking chair.
