Police: Armed robbery suspect targeting dollar stores

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are looking for an armed robbery suspect allegedly targeting dollar stores on the city's South Side.

Investigators said in each instance he walked up to the cashier like he was going to buy candy but instead pulled out a gun and demanded money.

Four robberies have occurred since last month in the Morgan Park and Gresham neighborhoods, all during evening hours.

No one was hurt.
