Police investigate suspicious package in Mag Mile

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Part of the Magnificent Mile was shut down overnight Friday after police spotted a suspicious package, officials said.

Investigators say there was an unattended cardboard box near Michigan Avenue and Pearson. The bomb squad responded, but didn't find anything in the box.

All streets have re-opened.
