Police search for man who robbed 6 suburban banks

Police are offering a reward for anyone with information leading to a man who robbed six suburban banks.

GLENDALE HEIGHTS, Ill. (WLS) -- Police are offering a reward for anyone with information leading to a man who robbed six suburban banks.

The latest robbery happened Tuesday at Chase Bank in the 2100-block of Bloomingdale Road in Glendale Heights at 10:38 a.m., police said.

The bank robber is described as a black male between the ages of 20 and 30, measuring 5 feet 4 inches. Police said he was last spotted wearing a black hat and a dark gray shirt with white lettering on the front.

The man is also responsible for bank robberies at US Bank in Berkeley, PNC Bank in Claredon Hills, Chase Bank at Hoffman Estates, BMO Harris Bank in Addison and West Suburban Bank in Oakbrook Terrace.
