Police search for suspect in Munster bank robbery

MUNSTER, Ind. (WLS) -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a Chase Bank branch in Munster, Ind., officials said.

The man allegedly entered the bank in the 500-block of Ridge Road around 9:43 a.m. Tuesday, gave the teller a note and took an unknown amount of money, police said. He then fled in a dark colored, four door vehicle driving west on Ridge Road, officials said.

The suspect is described as a white male between 5-foot-2 and 5-foot-4 weighing around 175-200 pounds, police said. He has a large tattoo on his neck as well as tattoos on his right hand and fingers.
