COUNTRY CLUB HILLS, Ill. (WLS) -- Police are searching for suspects in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at a Radio Shack store in south suburban Country Club Hills, officials said.
Police said two men allegedly entered the store, located in the 4100-block of West 167th Street, around 7:45 p.m. Friday, displaying a handgun. They allegedly used duct tape to tie the hands of one female worker and pistol-whipped another female worker, police said.
One offender allegedly took cellphones and cash from the store while the other talked to a third suspect on the phone, asking if he was in the back of the store, police said. The men then fled in a SUV.
Officials said the workers were not injured.
