Police: Woman attacked, robbed in West Town

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police have issued a community alert in the city's West Town neighborhood after a woman was attacked about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 500-block of North Marshfield.

Police say the victim was grabbed and forced into an alley. The man then took her iPhone and tried to sexually assault her. She screamed and scared him off.

Police are continuing to search for her attacker.
