Possible plea deal for teacher charged with abusing students

LAKE COUNTY, Ill. (WLS) -- A plea deal could be in the works for a former northwest suburban teacher charged with sexually abusing two students.

Michael Vucic was a teacher at the Gavin School District in Lake County, when the alleged abuse happened between 2007 and 2012.

According to our news partner the Daily Herald, that plea deal could be in place by the end of next month.

Police captured Vucic in Bosnia, after he fled the United States.
