EVERGREEN PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- A woman from suburban Evergreen Park has been sentenced to one and a half years in prison after being convicted of lying about a terrorist bombing.

When she came to the US, Rasmieh Odeh never told U.S. authorities about her conviction for a terrorist bombing in Israel. She has many supporters in the Chicago area who say she is a changed woman.

But the judge said the case was about whether or not she told the truth. Odeh will probably be deported after serving her sentence.
