Same-sex couple kicked out of cab for kissing reaches settlement with driver

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A same-sex couple that was kicked out of a cab for kissing on Thursday reached a settlement with that taxi driver.

Steven White and Matthew McCrea say the taxi driver pulled over on the Kennedy Expressway in 2013 and demanded they get out for kissing in the backseat.

The settlement announced Thursday states the taxi driver will apologize to the couple. He will also make a donation to a LGBT charity.
