CHICAGO (WLS) -- Dahvie Holmes, 20, is the second suspect charged in the shooting death of Camerion Blair, 16, in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood last month.

Blair, of the 7300-block of South Shore Drive, was shot in the 2600-block of East 73rd Street around 5:45 p.m. on Sept. 30. He was taken to South Shore Hospital, where he later died.

Holmes, of the 7600-block of South South Shore Drive, was charged with first-degree murder.

Last week, 21-year-old Robert Smith, of the 7600-block of South Coles Avenue, was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting.

Prosecutors said during Smith's bond hearing that he and Blair were members of opposing gang factions, and that surveillance video captured Smith and another suspect - later identified as Holmes - both approaching and fleeing the scene of the shooting.

Smith was arrested after a search of his home, prosecutors said. He was positively identified in a photo lineup and allegedly admitted to the shooting.

The 21-year-old man was ordered held without bond and is next scheduled to appear in court Oct. 23, according to the Cook County Sheriff's office.

Holmes is due in bond court on Wednesday.
