A registered sex offender is accused of trying to videotape a child in the bathroom at Wrigley Field.

Police said Nichols Gregor, 37, was attempting to secretly videotape an 11-year-old boy in the washroom at Wrigley Field on Saturday. The boy's father contacted security and they called police.

Gregor is charged with three felony counts for illegal videotaping, all of which are sex crimes.

Gregor lives in Villa Park, but his parents' neighbors in Hanover Park have called to complain about him allegedly videotaping children on a playground.

"I am on the lookout and I hope he doesn't show back up around here. I don't want to see him around here with all the kids and the school," said Nick Emkow, a parent in Hanover Park.

John Gutierrez said he got a warning about Gregor from the PTA at Elsie Johnson Elementary School earlier this year. The school is two doors away from the house where Gregor's family lives.

"A little disgusted. There's no place for that in this community," Gutierrez said. "There's no place for that in the world. I think it's sickening."

Gregor is already a registered sex offender after being convicted of videotaping children in a locker room at a St. Charles pool in 2010.

The prosecutor in DuPage County at the time called him "every parent's worst nightmare."

"It's sickening. It makes me sick to my stomach that a grown man would do something like that," Gutierrez said.

As part of the investigation in DuPage County, authorities said they uncovered a large supply of child pornography in Gregor's home.

Gregor is being held in jail. He's due in bond court on Tuesday.
