South Shore train ticket prices rise Wednesday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Ticket prices for South Shore train commuters will rise on July 1 after a price hike was approved in May.

One way tickets from Beverly Shores to downtown Chicago are increasing from $8.25 to $9 per ride.

Tickets from Miller and Gary stations are going up from $6 to $6.50.
