Stabbing, shooting within 3 blocks early Saturday morning

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating two crimes that happened just three blocks apart early Saturday morning.

One man was stabbed and two others hurt in a fight over a woman around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 5700-block of North California, police said. The stabbing victim is in serious condition.

Then, around 5 a.m., police say an 18-year-old man was shot and killed. His body was found in an alley in the 5700-block of North Campbell. The teen had been shot in the head.
